Who are we?
A Catholic Parish in Berkshire & South Oxfordshire
Hendred Catholic Parish
Hendred Catholic Parish is a parish (a territorial unit of the Catholic Church) of the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth.
The parish church is S. Mary's East Hendred. We also have our chapel-of-ease S. Patrick's, East Ilsley.
We believe that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three persons and one substance.
We believe that God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to take on our human nature, and die for us on the Cross.
We believe that Jesus Christ founded the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church to be the Sacrament of Salvation for every man and woman.
We believe all that Christ's Church teaches.
